Kieren Clark
Founder/CEO
Kieren has over 20 years of experience in motorsport, including 15 years focused on driver development. A former competitor and long-time coach, he’s worked across karting, single-seaters, and endurance racing, working with such drivers as Zak O’Sullivan, Zane Maloney and Kiern Jewiss to name a few.
He founded Kokoro in 2017 to solve a problem he’d seen too often — promising drivers being held back by agendas, poor advice and empty promises. Built on honestly, transparency and a driver first mentality, Kieren is on a mission to challenge the culture of Motorsport one driver at a time.
Patrick Grant
General Manager
Patrick oversees the day-to-day operations of Kokoro, covering everything from client delivery to commercial growth.
Former Head of Auto for Alpinestars, Patrick’s diverse background ensures the business runs with the same clarity and efficiency it expects from its drivers.
With a wide view across operations, marketing, partnership, and execution, Patrick keeps Kokoro aligned, efficient and responsive,— so the team can stay focused on delivering results where it counts.
Barry Mears
Head of Driver Management
Barry is a seasoned motorsport professional with extensive experience and networks across single-seater, GT, and endurance racing.
Barry’s client-focused approach has led to long-term relationships with drivers such as IndyCar stars Callum Ilott and Louis Foster, teams at every level while also developing and managing partnerships with major global brands.
His approach is refreshingly transparent: no hidden agendas — just unwavering support in the best interest of the driver. Barry’s methodical, client-first philosophy ensures every decision is driven by integrity and tailored to elevate each athlete.
Johnathan Hoggard
Head of Driver Performance
Johnathan is a Autosport Young Driver of the Year recipient with championship experience across multiple top level championships.
Now focused on developing the next generation, Johnathan combines front-line racing experience with deep technical knowledge — translating data into clear, actionable feedback that drivers can trust. At Kokoro, he’s a key part of the senior team, delivering first rate driver coaching and analysis.
