What is the Driver Assessment Day?
The Driver Assessment Day is a full 8-hour session at the Kokoro Performance office with a dedicated performance coach.
Using our in-house simulators, we assess the five fundamental skills every driver needs to understand before delivering consistent, fast lap times. These will be discussed in detail during the assessment.
Without this understanding, a driver does not have control over their performance and will see a trend of inconsistency in testing or racing.
With a focus on gathering data, we run a series of drills to test a driver’s baseline knowledge as well as their understanding of how they learn and process information.
Once a baseline is established, we will zero in on each fundamental skill to help the driver fully understand how these impact performance, using past driver experiences to demonstrate each example.
The final stage combines all fundamental skills while driving, at which point a driver will see a considerable improvement in lap time and consistency.

Every driver is different, and some have most of the knowledge required but are not aware of how to use it effectively.

Drivers are welcome to bring a guest with them on the day. However, we will be working 1:1 with the driver through simulation and reaction testing.
We can provide space for work, and the Kokoro office has great proximity to local cafés.
